
Full course description
The Certificate in Social Justice Leadership (CSJL) modules includes a general introduction which explores structural inequities at nonprofits, how organizations can advocate for higher levels of societal equity, and attempts to deepen participants' awareness of biased systems within nonprofit organizations. Other topics throughout the program include cultural competency; leading diversity, equity, and inclusion; managing workplace diversity; advocacy and public policy. The included modules move participants from a theory-based understanding of social justice principles to practical application at the individual/group level, community level, and organizational level.
The Certificate in Social Justice Leadership is earned by successfully completing all online educational modules within 10 weeks from the start of the program. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Professional Development Hours are available.
